1985 to 1998 The acrylics on paper were done for two reasons: the first was partly the time to make, stretch and prepare a canvas and second was at the time it was easier to sustain a start, to get an image more established on paper rather than on canvas. Most were painted on 300 gram “Van Gelder”, Old Dutch Etching paper.
